Popis: | 106 This thesis presents two approaches of EBG (Electromagnetic Band Gap), HIS (High Impedance surface) and AMC (Artificial Magnetic Conductor), to decrease the effect of the metal environment on the antenna of the WLAN access point. And the EBG structure is also applied to improve the isolation of MIMO antennas. The first two antenna has broad side radiation pattern. Their half-power beamwidthes are greater than the 100 degrees and the peak gains are greater than 4 dBi. HIS is the first approach to mitigate the effect of metal environment on antenna. These 5×6 unit-cells HIS are arrayed under the dipole antenna with 4 mm. The total size of antenna is 67.6 mm × 67.6 mm × 6.4 mm. In order to improve the shortcoming of HIS which has too big volume, the AMC is proposed. These 3×4 unit-cells AMC are closely arrayed under the dipole antenna with 1.6 mm so the total volume of the antenna is reduced to 67.6 mm × 67.6 mm × 3.2 mm. In last part of this thesis, a tri-band AMC structure is proposed. It applies on the wireless router. The AMC can enhance the isolation and reduce the distance between the antennas of the router. The total size of 4T4R MIMO antennas is 87.6 mm × 87.6 mm × 3.2 mm and isolation less than -15 dB. |
