Popis: | 106 The purpose of this study was to understand the perceptions of the importance and implementation readiness of the Health Promotion School Project(HPSP) by the Section Chief of Hygiene at the Junior High School Level. Questionnaires were administered to 240 chiefs of hygiene section in junior high schools across Taiwan, and 137 effective samples were received. The research findings are as follows: 1. The chiefs of Hygiene section in junior high schools appraised all the determinants of HPSP as very important. 2. The most common use of community resources was the Health Bureau(Clinic). 3. More than half of the schools did not allocate fixed funds to fund HPSP activities. 4. Participants’ perception on the implementation readiness of the determinants of HPSP were significantly different by the following variables: as a health education teacher and fixed funds allocated. 5. Participants’ perception on the importance of the determinants of HPSP were significantly different by the following variables: as a health education teacher, highest education, school size and district. |
