Popis: | 106 The demand for chip-to-chip data transmission rates is increasing year by year, and the specifications of data links are constantly being updated. There are two traditional data links: wired and wireless. Wired connection has the following disadvantages: the product must reserve holes for the connector, the connector will wear out, signal interference and connector pairing problem. Wireless connection solves some of these problems but must face the challenges of complex antenna design, power consumption and data leakage. In response to the above difficulties, this thesis presents the design of a mm-wave contactless data link with a transmission distance of 0.5cm. The 130 GHz millimeter wave carrier is used to increase the data rate. The simulation results show that the data rate is 20Gbs and the bit-error-rate (BER) is less than 10-12. The circuit operates at 1.2 volts and dissipates 261 mW. |
