The Study of the Career Transition of the Military Training Instructors on Withdrawal from Campus – Take the Military Training Instructors in Kaohsiung City as Example

Popis: | 106 Ministry of Education has decided that the military training instructors will be on withdrawal from campus in June 2021, so this study will be focusing on the career transformation of military training instructors after they are out of the campus. Qualitative Research and focused on semi-structure interviews will be taken to collect and analyze data, and there will be five military training instructors from senior/industrial high schools in Kaohsiung in this study. Via interviews, their thought can be understood. According to this study, the followings are the major conclusions: 1.The military training instructors show better confidence with education level of Master or Bachelor for facing career transition; and the ones graduate from military schools are more worried about the impact of future career transition. 2.There is no specific limit to unmarried military training instructors after the withdrawal of the campus, their career space is quite large; the married ones need to consider about their families, the choice of location is limited, hence career transformation gives more pressure for the married ones. 3.The experience of serving in the military provides a wide range of personal connections. Students they taught or soldiers they guided might give them aids when they face the career transformation. 4.Due to pension reform, in particular, the substantial reduction of pensions has driven the retired military training instructors who didn’t plan to work off or on campus anxious to find a job. Lastly, according to the above research results of this study, comes up with some suggestions on the training and selection of national defense teachers, the improvement of welfare for campus security staffs and the clarification of supporting measures. Hope that offers some aids for the military training instructors when they face the career transformation. |
