Popis: | 106 Taiwan produces a lot of Basic Oxygen Furnace Slag (BOF) due to steelmaking every year. BOF is hard texture and abrasion resistance. Since 2017, the use of BOF in domestic road construction has reduced the extraction of natural sand and gravel, and on the other hand has solved the problem of desalination of BOF. BOF asphalt concrete has good mechanical properties and provides high-resistance pavement with resistance to wheel rutting and can extend the service life of pavements. However, the specific gravity and physical properties of BOF vary with the process or period, which makes it difficult to control the production quality of BOF. In order to ensure the quality of effective public works, this study aims at the formulation of the mixing process in the production of the BOF dense-graded concrete. This study uses BOF instead of natural aggregate, and dense-graded asphalt concrete with mixing design was used to test various mechanical properties. After the test match the specifications, the designed dense-graded asphalt concrete is tested for mechanical properties such as stability value, fluidity value, indirect tension, retention strength, immersion stripping, resilient modulus, static creep and dynamic creep tests. This study studied the grading of the working mix for the same mechanical properties of the test, and compared with the difference in the design, to explore how to use BOF asphalt concrete in the paving more performance. |
