This study focuses on the collections of ambient air particulates and those pollutants which attached with them at sampling sites in central Taiwan. And this research was focused on the measurement of ambient air pollutants species (Hg(p), Cl-, NO3- and SO42-)concentrationsand the wet, dry depositions by using PS-1(TSP), dry depositions plate and wet deposition tub at traffic and industrial sampling sites, respectively during the May.2017~ Dec. 2017.In this study ambient air mercury and ionic species pollutants Volume weighted mean concentrations (VMW) and Wet deposition flux (FW) were calculated in central Taiwan during plum rain season. The relationship between rainfall to mercury and ionic species pollutants concentrations, wet depositions were also discussed. Ambient air pollutants wet depositions were at collected traffic sampling site while dry depositions were collected at industrial sites for these semi-open/outdoor environments at a concrete processing factory in ChangHua Coastal Park during the year of 2017-half year observations. Inaddition, the comparisons of ambient air total suspended particulates concentrations, dry depositions for these semi-open/outdoor environments were also discussed. Finally, this study was aim to find the appropriate dry deposition models in the predictions of the semi-open/outdoor dry depositions for this factory. The results of this study further indicated that the total VMW for Hg(p), Cl-, NO3- and SO42- pollutants specieswere 0.762ng/L, 1.077, 1.241 and 1.773μg/L, respectively. Moreover, total Fw for Hg, Cl-, NO3- and SO42- were 0.430 ng/m2, 0.61, 0.700 and 1.001μg/ m2, respectively during plum rain season for this study. And, the results of the Hg(p) and ionic species Cl-, NO3- and SO42- relationship between wet depositions to the rainfall was also studied. Lowcorrelatedcoefficients were found between ambient air pollutants (Hg(p) and ionic species Cl-, NO3- and SO42-) wet depositions and rainfall during this plum rainfall. The results further showed As for dry depositions, that the results indicated that the average dry depositions, total suspended particulates concentrations were 1579.02 µg/m2*min, 1175.9 µg/m3, respectively at this semi-open environment while the average dry depositions, total suspended particulates concentrations were 2886.21µg/m2*min, 360.28 µg/m3, respectively for the outdoor environment. In addition, Baklanov and Woods models exhibited better dry deposition predictions results when they were used 20, 23 µm particulates sizes as the calculated dry depositions velocities in the estimating of ambient air particulates and ionic species Cl-, NO3- and SO42- dry depositions forthese outdoor and semi-open environments at this industrial concrete processing factory sampling site. Finally, Woods model performed even better dry depositions predictions results when compared with that of Baklanov model for both semi-open/outdoor environments for those above pollutants (particulatesand ionic species Cl-, NO3- and SO42-) in this study.
