University Students' Perception of Mobile Learning: A Case of Using Podcast as a Learning Tool

Popis: | 106 This study explores students’ perception toward mobile learning by using podcast. The findings in the paper base on the qualitative research that employed interview and observation. The study also uses simple statistics to analyze students’ pre-test and post-test scores. For the purpose, this study investigates 1) the students’ perception before and after using M-learning tools, 2) what effects M-learning bring about on students’ performance, and 3) what problems students may encounter, and the most important, what kind of supports they need. In order to extract the information of learners’ perceptions, the researcher focused on elementary level students’ learning perception before and after they used podcast. The results of this study show that the perceptive diversities are not significant. The results of both tests also show that podcast improves the participants’ listening ability. Moreover, participants provide some suggestions relating to continuing use for future users and teachers. |
