Popis: | 106 The frequency selective surfaces (FSS) are periodic two-dimensional arrays of aperture or patch conductive elements which perform bandpass or bandstop filtering for the total reflection or transmission in the resonant frequencies. This FSS sheets can be applied in the fields of frequency selective radomes (stealth radome) and circuit-analog (CA) radar absorbing structures (RAS) to reduce the radar cross sections of stealth weapons. This study combines the technology of CA RAS and FSS sheets to design two type of novel transmissive/absorptive radomes for airborne fire-control radars and C-band control radars. This study uses ANSYS Designer as well as the genetic algorithm to optimally design the transmissive/absorptive radome so as to obtain the design parameters. The C-band radome has a 0.5 dB transmission power loss at 5.2 GHz and the band for 10 dB reflection power loss is 8.5~ 17.5 GHz. The stealth radome for fire control has a 1.1 dB transmission power loss at 9.7 GHz while the bandwidth of 8.0 dB reflection power loss spans 2.0~ 7.5 GHz and 13.5~ 16.4 GHz. Using screen printing for resistive FSS and sputtering with wet-etching for slotted FSS, the as-fabricated FSSs are integrated into the glass FRP prepreg and then cured in an autoclave. The transmission and reflection are measured in the anechoic chamber for different incident angles and polarization and the measured results are compared very well with the simulation. |
