The Correlation of Selfie and Live Streaming Behavior among Nantou Junior High School Students

Popis: | 106 With the current popularity of mobile Internet, community software is changing rapidly, and the domestic use of smart phones country has increased dramatically. Most students use mobile phones to send messages and to run their own social platforms such as: Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. And selfies cover the largest proportion in the albums on the social media. In addition to self behavior, the new trend of rapidly using mobile phone software for teenagers is "Live Streaming Behavior." Many of today's social software also have a live streaming function. Whether it is watching live broadcasts or personal broadcasts, young people are extremely interested in and even addicted to. Based on the data collected by the questionnaire survey, this study discusses whether different applications (age, gender, family structure, and economic status) will affect the use of selfie apps and the type of live streaming watching.And the relationship between selfie behaviors of teenagers and live streaming behaviors is positively related. A questionaire survey was conducted on junior high school student of Nantou County by convenience sampling. The questionaires were distributed to 500 students and 468 valid samples were retrived. The data were analyzed with SPSS 20.0 for descriptive statistics, reliability and validity analysis, Chi-square test, t test and ANOVA, canonical correlation and simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the “selfie behavior scale” and “live streaming scale”, the finding are as follows: Different background variables will affect the students to use selfie apps and the types watching live streaming; among them, the “gender” variable is the most significant. In addition, the selfie behavior is positively related to the live-action behavior, and self-portraits do affect the live-action behavior. |
