Opportunities for advanced studies have increased following changes in the social environment, flourishing ideological education, and constant innovation in information technology. Rapid changes can create completely different circumstances within a few short years, and constant learning is the only way to avoid elimination. Everyone needs to enhance their core competitiveness through different learning channels and increase their added value. It seems that in a knowledge economy with an endless inflow of new knowledge, pursuing advanced studies is the only response to the competition. Hence, this study ascertains the effect of motive for advanced studies of students in informal education systems on their learning satisfaction. This study surveys students participating in advanced studies in informal education systems. A total of 450 questionnaires were issued and 410 valid questionnaires were collected, representing a valid response rate reaching 91.11%. Descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and regression analysis were employed to validate the research hypotheses. Research results show that different background variables have significantly different motive for advanced study and learning satisfaction; motive for advanced study has a significant effect on learning satisfaction.
