An Application of the Taipei Station Guide By Combining Human-Machine-Interface and Multi-Manager System

| Popis: | 106 In this thesis, we design a new application on HMI (Human Machine Interface) for Taipei station which is efficient and accurate to find destination for the travelers who are at the station, even on the way to the department store or market around the station. PROFINET communication architecture developed by SIEMENS AG is applied here to connect with the entire station by the collected data. First of all, we introduce an indoor HMI application and apply it to the Taipei Station. We have built a data base to save the relevant information for Taipei Station so that users can use the application to search for all the necessary information related to their location and destination. Then, we make the correct indoor route guidance or the information provided by the station for a variety of different needs displayed on the HMI which is a kind of touch panel to the users, as if there are people everywhere at the tourist center to provide travelers the most intimate service. Second, we set up exclusive browsing pages and management rights for the merchants or organizations in the stations. With exclusive accounts and passwords to control individual permissions, it is really simple to provide diverse services and more competitive commercial advertising images to their customers by only editing their own HMI navigation pages. Third, the multi-language model is built in the whole system. For foreign tourists or people who are not speaking Chinese, the language switching button in the HMI screen can be quickly clicked, and the language conversion of the whole system can be quickly provided. Using by more passengers, it will make Taipei Station upgrade to a large international station. For the design, we have the contributions as follows: 1. Convenience During the rush hour, it is easy for people to find the target location without having to look in maps at the station or rely on indications that are not clear enough. 2. Efficiency It can reduce the time to accurately guide users to take the train or find restaurants to enjoy the food at the station. 3. Accelerated economic growth For site businesses to achieve advertising and media exposure, it is easy for them to by modifying or updating their own pages. |
