Preparation and Application of Processing Oil

Popis: | 107 As a rising awareness of environment protection, people request that everything should be eco-friendly to environment and non-toxic to human body. Recently European Union(EU) formulate criteria to claim the daily supplies which containing with polycyclic aromatics inside the products would not be sold in Europe. Including the rubber process, the criteria also restrict the amount of polycylic aromatics in processing oil. Therefore, we try transesterification reaction to prepare the eco-friendly processing oil and seek the suitable ester adding into Group II oil. In the first half of the research, we found that oil the ester made by transesterification as processing oil adding into the Group II oil can help the mixing condition of beginning mixing stage and shorten the time of vulcanization. Moreover, DMA shows that oil the ester made by transesterification as processing oil adding into the Group II oil can increase tanδ in low temperature, indicating that the wet grip of tire tread is improved. In the second half, this study investigated using the waste tire rubber of modified asphalt. Conventionally the modified asphalt has been using the Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene block copolymer as the rubber modifier, but the SBS rubber cost is higher. The annual recycling of tires is huge in domestic. Substituting waste tire rubber for SBS rubber as a rubber modifier can not only reduce the cost but also solve the black pollution problem of environment and resource utilization of waste tires. Therefore, the effect of different content of SBS rubber and waste tire rubber on the characteristic of asphalt were compared, and using the torque measurement apparatus and Dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA) understand the viscoelastic behavior of modified asphalt. From the torque measurement test, the result of two types of waste tire rubber S and T shows that T type rubber was better than S type rubber at the same proportion in asphalt. Moreover, the DMA measurement analyze reveals the performance of tanδ decrease with the increase of T type content, even same with SBS. Although the usage amount of crumb tire rubber is higher than SBS, the cost of crumb tire rubber is much lower than SBS rubber. As a result, crumb tire rubber can be used to replace SBS rubber as a rubber modifier. |
