Popis: | 105 The main purpose of this research is to discuss the teaching situation and needs on using IWB (Interactive Whiteboard) as a teaching method for resource room teachers in elementary schools. The research is conducted via semi-structured interviews, in order to find the understanding on IWB, the teaching situation and needs, the software and hardware equipment, and the support in school on using IWB for the resource room teachers in the elementary schools. After analysis, the results are as follow: 1.Teachers considered the IWB can: attract students’ attention, enhance learning motivation, be operated directly and provide instant interaction, assist students have difficulty with detailed movements, and reduce the waste of teaching resources 2.The study found out the reasons affect the frequency of use, including the content of the lesson, the needs of the teaching materials, students’ ability, the allocation and operation on IWB, and education policy. 3.As for using experience, the reasons caused the teachers interviewed in this research to use IWB includes: the recommendation from the students’ parents, the support of the Taipe City West Special Education Resoure Center, personal interest, the needs from the lesson and attracted of the function of IWB etc. And the reason for counting includes: to enhance students’ learning motivation, provide teaching materials, whether the equipment is perfect and personal interest. 4.In the interview, the priority need for the teachers is learning how to operate; the second is the platform providing teaching materials, and the last is learning how to edit the materials. Other needs include teaching observation, updating equipment, thorough support and unified version etc. |
