The objective of the study was to investigate the consumer’s emphasis on the value of the pre-arrangement contract for better business techniques in order to improve their acceptance of the product. In the five constructs of the consumption value theory, the study used quality function development in survey questionnaires to acquire 21 key indices of consumer’s perception of value in pre-arrangement contract, which were presented as belows: 1. An analysis of the demographic differences in consumer’s perceived value (1) Significant difference was observed with an emphasis on social value with or without a pre-arrangement contract. (2) Significant difference was observed in emphasis on social value of education level. (3) Significant difference was observed with an emphasis on emotional value of consumer''s different monthly income level. 2. The calculation of weighted consumption value showed that the top three concerns for consumers were business legitimacy, contractual liability and service quality. 3. Feasible plans for improving the top three concerns in pre-arrangement contract included: the quality of faculty members of customer service, the optimization of funeral service procedure and the sales-oriented business model to satisfy customer needs. The result of this research could serve as reference for business in pre-arrangement contract.
