Popis: | 105 The thesis proposes a I2 current mode control buck converter with high output voltage/current and a V2 current mode buck converter with active GM-C type current sensing circuit. First, we present a I2 current mode control buck converter. The converter has wide input and output range, where the input range is from 3.3V to 4V and the output range is from 1V to 2V. The proposed converter inherits the I2 current mode control converter with fast transient response. When the load step current changes from 200mA to 500mA and from 500mA to 200mA, the transient time of the converter is 5μs and 2.5μs respectively. The proposed buck converter has been fabricated with TSMC 0.35-μm CMOS 2P4M process, the total chip area is 1.5*1.5 mm2. Next, we present a V2 current mode with active GM-C type current sensing circuit. The converter has wide input and output range, where the input range is from 3V to 4.6V, and the output rage is from 1V to 2.9V. The max load current is 1A. The proposed converter inherits the V2 current mode control converter with fast transient response. When the load current steps are from 50mA to 500mA and from 500mA to 50mA. The transient time is 1.7μs and 1.7μs respectively. The proposed buck converter has been fabricated with TSMC 0.35-μm CMOS 2P4M process,the total chip area is 1.5*1.5 mm2 . |
