| Popis: | 105 In order to strengthen company governance system and prevent financial fraud, our government introduced the independent director system in hope that It could strengthen the functionality of the board of directors, improve the transparency of the company financial information, and guarantee the right of shareholders and stakeholders. Taiwan Stock Exchange has the responsibility to implement the independent director system. Moreover, it has implemented for over fifteen years. In this research, we took the companies that became the listed companies from 2007 to 2016 as our target, and verify if this system has a positive relevance on promoting company performance and stock price remuneration. |
