Popis: | 105 Spot welding of AISI 304 stainless steel with different thick plates was carried out by Nd: YAG laser, which was discussed and found the most appropriate parameters for the shear strength of spot welding, the influence of welding surface and the bonding area after laser welding in this study. Firstly, current and pulse width were changed to analyze the impact of the welding spot shape, and find the corresponding maximum shear strength under the mostly appropriate combination parameters. In addition, the influence of the current and pulse width on the welding spot was discussed through the different combination of thick plates and focal position. The maximum shear load is directly proportional to the bonding area of the welding spot by the tensile test. The results show that the maximum shear load is 1,796 N at 0.85 mm of the optimum joint width under 1.0 mm/1.5 mm of the plate thickness combination. The shear load increases with the bonding area. Through the experimental results of focus position, it was found that the surface width of the solder joint increase when the focal point leaves the surface of the first layer workpiece. However, it is insignificant effect for the focal position contributes to increase the bonding area of the solder joint. Finally, the shear strength of butt welding and the influence of the solder joint surface, as well as the bonding area under the conditions of laser spot welding are discussed in order to provide the application and reference of related industries in laser spot welding. |
