Popis: | 105 This study investigated the mixed monolayers containing different copolymers poly (styrene-methyl methyl methacrylate) (PS-b-PMMA; PS-co-PMMA; PS-r-PMMA) and phenoxy resin (Phr). Temperature and concentration are used as the variables to observe the behavior of the monolayers by measuring surface pressure-area per molecule (π-A) isotherm. Calculate the excess area by π-A isotherms. The analysis of surface pressure-area isotherms and excess area showed that mixed monolayers exhibit intermolecular interaction. This caused positive and negative deviation of excess area. The relaxation curves show how the area of monolayer changes with time at a constant surface pressure. In addition, we use the Vollhardt equation to simulate the nucleation and growth model during the relaxation process of monolayer. We obtain the constants x and kx from the equation. The mechanism of nuclear and growth of kx and x could be evaluated in some of the studied systems. We can learn that viscoelastic modulus was affected by structure through the experiment of oscillation curve. We find out that temperature will affect the stability of monolayer. Also, we research oscillation curves to estimate the viscoelastic properties of polymer materials. The analysis of surface pressure-area per molecule (π-A) isotherms and excess area showed that mixed monolayers exhibit intermolecular interaction. When the pressure increases, the deviation can change form positive to negative. We obtain the constants x and kx from the equation. Form the study we can see that kx is infiuenced by temperature. We can obtain the conclusion that PS-r-PMMA have a better viscoelasticity than other PS-PMMA. |
