In this study, we used polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), silver nitrate (AgNO3) and silver nano rod (AgNR) as raw materials to prepare fibrous mats through single/coaxial electrospinning. We also improved the single/co-axial electrospinning device in this study. AgNRs were prepared via polyol process to adjust the silver nanowires parameters. The interfacial resistance of silver nanowires was reduced by adding silver nitrate in the fibrous mats. After reduction of PVP/AgNR/AgNO3, the fibers transformed to PVP/ AgNR/AgNP. The resulting mats were analyzed using SEM, TEM, TGA and FTIR. Furthermore, the sheet resistances of the prepared fibrous mats were measured by four-point probe which have a resistance below 109Ω-cm.
