Popis: | 105 There are human flow simulations done on buildings for civil use. These simulations are carried out to test the performance of escape routes designed in buildings. However, buildings as simulation environment use in these simulations are static information models, which means that building models used as simulation environments can only provide building parameters information which cannot be modified, such as building geometrical information. As human flow simulations are pedestrians’ movement in a building, the facility such as the doors or the escalators of the static information models does not explain the effects of the facility’s state to the pedestrians’ movement; for example, the opening or closing of the doors can affect the movement of the pedestrians. Unfortunately, the static information models does not provide such parameters. Therefore, this research uses a database, windows form and a modeling software’s application programing interface to develop a platform to store and manage such parameters on a building model. The platform is used to store the parameters of the building models such as the opening or closing of doors, the operating speed of the escalators, and the related parameters that affect pedestrians’ movement. Overall, these parameters of the building facilities are variables. The way of the parameters storing in the platform makes the building models used as simulation environment no longer a static information model, but with variable parameters. By recording the platform’s parameters, the platform becomes an information exchanging tool for all adjustable parameters in the lifecycle of the building. |
