The main purpose of this study is to investigate the possible mechanism affecting well-being of adolescence. By referring to the literature, ten hypotheses and a structural equation model are developed based on the interrelationship among four constructs: personality, social attachment, class dynamics and well-being of adolescence. The samples were drawn from the survey of Taiwan Youth Project in 2008, in which a total of 2,055 G9 were included in the sample. By using Structural Equation Model (SEM), the major findings were as follows: Personality has a positive influence on social attachment, class dynamics and well-being of adolescence. Social attachment has a positive influence on class dynamics and well-being of adolescence. Class dynamics also has a positive influence on well-being of adolescence. Further more, social attachment and class dynamics have a significant mediating effect on the relationship between personality and well-being of adolescence. Overall, the findings will provide useful suggestions.
