Design of Wide Bandwidth and Circular Polarization of the Coupled-Fed Open-Slot Antenna

Popis: | 105 In this thesis, a microstrip open-slot antenna with circular polarization has been demonstrated for integration of multiple commercial wireless communication systems. Two open slots are etched in the ground plane and applied as the radiator elements. By utilizing a T-shaped feeding stub, the inductive reactance of the prototype antenna is compensated by a capacitive loading such that the moderate impedance bandwidth can be obtained. Additionally, etching the inverted-L slit in the top segment of the ground plane successfully excite the circular polarization around 2.33 GHz. To enhance the impedance matching condition in the middle frequency band, an inverted-C coupling strip is embedded in the dominant open-slot radiator; meanwhile, this technique also generates a new resonance around 5.3 GHz. The proposed open-slot antenna can be a candidate of the radiator for applications of LTE700/900/2300/2600, GSM 900, DCS 1800, PCS 1900, UMTS, SDAR, WLAN 2400, WiMAX, and HiperLAN. |
