In this study were focused at the micro-meteorological variation after the ecological pond construction in a watershed with natural thorny bamboo plantation. The plot was located at the southwestern side of Soil and Water Conservation Outdoor Classroom, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology. A platform was constructed around the pond, and the observational tower with 6m height wat set for micro-meteorological measurements, included: net radiation, air temperature, soil heat flux, relative humidity and earth temperature from October. 2014 to April 2016. All the data were analysis for the micro-meteorological variation while the ecological pond construction, and to predict earth temperature variation by Fourier series method. The results had showed that the lowest air temperature at the 0.5m height was more than 15°C, and the earth temperature around the ecological pool was more than 18°C. While the thorny bamboo plantation in a windless state, it could result the reduction of water vapor flow, and the relative humidity was more than 70%. The regression coefficients of net radiation and global solar radiation in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter were 0.23, 0.26, 0.38 and 0.33, respectively. The vertical profile analysis was also carried out at 2, 5, 10, 30, 50 cm under the ground surface of thorny bamboo plantation. The Fourier series method was used to estimate the depth of 2 cm in the ground surface, and then compared with the measured values. It had showed that there is a positive correlation in the daytime and a low correlation in the night.
