This study is to explore the professional development course of a kindergarten teacher's guidance program. It also explored the influence of the implementation process of guidance program on the professional development of kindergarten teachers. The purposes of this study are as follows. First, to explore the career shaping and challenging as a kindergarten professional person. Second, to explore the reconstruction of the ideal image of the teachers and caregivers. Third, to explore the teachers and caregivers’ plight of participating in guidance programs and improve strategies. Fourth, to understand one’s self-professional growth situation after participating in counseling program. This study applied qualitative research methods, based on self narrative, supplemented by teaching and learning notes, counseling reports and files, etc. Collecting informations from many ways and then analyze them, the results are as follows: The integrated education policy of kindergarten challenges the professional shaping of kindergarten professional persons; making the professional identification of young teachers, professional autonomy, and the teaching scene is facing a crisis. Besides, through the counseling program, kindergarten teachers can be promoted to understand the new curriculum, and reconstruct the new teachers’ shape. Then, expert entrance counseling for kindergarten teachers can improve teaching effectiveness through group discussion, observation and implementation courses. The counseling program can promote the professional growth of kindergarten teachers, including professional knowledge, professional practice, and professional input and so on. Based on the results of this research, I propose some suggestions for authorities of educational administration, schools and research in the future.
