In recent years, long-term evolution (LTE) matured gradually, so the rapid growth of cellular network traffic, resulting in a shortage of license spectrum supply. To solve this problem, the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) proposes to use the unlicensed spectrum to share the use of the network. In order to make efficient use of more spectrum resources, some countries have begun to study and evaluate the use of licenses (LTE in Unlicensed Band, LTE-U), Licensed Assisted Access (LAA), Licensed Shared Access (LSA), Supplemental Downlink (SDL) and other technologies. LTE-U and LAA are new technologies that meet these scenarios, the basic concept is to use the license-free band to amplify the available spectrum of the current mobile communication. As LTE-U and LAA technology to promote LTE and the existing license-free WiFi shared license band, so the system coexistence and spectrum of traffic is extremely important. In this paper, according to the current situation of 3GPP and IEEE standards, In addition to the classification of WiFi and LTE in the license-free band technology, besides the classification of WiFi and LTE in the license-free band technology, also through the OAI (OpenAirInterface) simulation of LTE and WiFi in the license-free band coexistence method, In addition to be able to understand the LTE and WiFi is the license-free band coexistence of the respective operating system conditions, but also through the OAI technology on the computer to show the current status of the network and the current number of users, so not only can achieve real-time monitoring effect. You can also confirm the current status of all network connections. Keyword:LTE, 3GPP, LAA.
