Augmented Reality Application for Representation of Historical Sites-Based on Technology Acceptance Model and Innovation Diffusion Theory

Popis: | 105 Based on representation historical sites of the Roman Colosseum by using Augmented Reality (AR) technology, this study selected the national historic monuments Fengshan County Old Town (Zuoying Old City) to do the same thing. The AR app we adopted will let travelers see The Gongcheng Well restored to how it looked when it was first built. Through the AR app practically allows travelers to step back in time. Combined the Innovation Diffusion Theory (IDT) and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) are conducted. A total of 450 questionnaires were distributed and 384 usable samples were obtained. The research framework is to progress Partial Least Squares (PLS) Algorithm and Bootstrapping by using PLS path modeling. The result (1) relative advantage has significantly positive effect on attitude toward use; (2) perceived ease of using has significantly positive effect on attitude toward use; (3) compatibility has significantly positive effect on attitude toward use; (4) trust has significantly positive effected on attitude toward use; (5) trialability has significantly positive effect on attitude toward use; (6) attitude toward use has significantly positive effect on acceptance and recommendation; (7) relative advantage has significantly positive effect on acceptance and recommendation. The findings offer an insight into the market and the public sector in the representation of historical sites. |
