Popis: | 105 Microorganisms can promote plant growth by both direct and indirect mechanisms. The direct way is the microbes secrect plant hormone or provide nutrient source such like nitrogen for plant. Another mechanism is that microorganism inhibit the plant pathogen in order to survival in the environment. In this study, we isolated yeast from phyllosphere and rhizosphere of Drosera indica and Drosera spatulata. Besides, we measure their plant-growth promoting traits. As the results, we find most of the yeast have ability for IAA production. Otherwise, yeast have tryptophan-independent IAA biosynthetic pathway to secrete auxin. The ability of IAA producing can be impacted by environmental factors like pH value and temperature. We evaluated the effects of various concentrations of exogenous IAA on yeast growth. these result can be apply for not only biofertilizer but also biocontrol reagent. In addition to measuring the IAA production, calcium phosphate and zinc oxide solubilisation, and also for production of NH3, polyamine, and catalase activity. Their siderophore, 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate (ACC) deaminase, and fungal cell wall-degrading enzyme activities were assessed in the plant-growth promoting(PGP) traits assay. Their antagonism against pathogenic fungus Glomerella cingulata was also evaluated. The study shows yeast have different PGP traits and can promote the formation of adventitious buds in Drosera spatulata. To sum up, our study results show that yeasts have potential as biofertilizers in both controlled and field conditions. |
