技術型高中電機與電子群教師兼任行政工作之意願影響因素及工作壓力研究

This study was to investigate the influence of teachers for different personal background variables of attitude and willingness to work part-time administrative work of the pressure. The samples were the electrical and electronic cluster teachers at vocational high schools in Taiwan. A total of 344 questionnaires were distributed, and 304 valid ques-tionnaires were retrieved with a valid return rate of 88%. The data were collected and analyzed with descriptive sta-tistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé's posteriori com-parisons, and Person product-moment correlation. From research objectives, the results are as follows: 1. High school electric and electronics teachers show their disapproval of taking on administrative work besides teaching mainly because of objection from the family. They reject the offer pleading heavy job pressure. 2. High school electric and electronics teachers further insist their long years spent in teaching allow them to be exempt from taking on administrative duties because they have so many classes to teach and are strongly opposed to the offer. 3. What makes high school electric and electronics teachers unwilling to take on administrative duties is that they are “young teachers at age,” “rookie teachers in experience,” “full-time teachers in position,” and that “they are teaching with administrative duties,” “they have to teach more classes than practice courses,” and that “they have attended some cooperation workshop.” These are pre-ferred choices. 4. High school electric and electronics teachers have a great concern about whether they can teach well while taking on administrative duties at the same time.
