Popis: | 105 “Hakka” is translated from the Basel Mission missionary writing and publications, which is the missionary process in Hong Kong was inextricably linked, so this study that the Tsung Tsin Mission of Hong Kong, is great importance for the interaction of Hakka ethnic groups. However, in the study of the Church of Hong Kong, there is little discussion about contemporary Tsung Tsin Mission; while in the Hakka Studies, there is only a handful of discussions on Hong Kong. In view of this, this study attempts to supplement the Hong Kong Hakka research-oriented, and to provide a case study of the Church of Hong Kong. The research question is divided into three aspects: First, what is the change in the missionary strategy of the Tsung Tsin Mission as a “Hakka Church” in the past? What is the significance of the changes in the Hakka church in the face of the loss of Hakka culture and the change of the evangelistic language? Finally, how does the demographic transition affect the Hakka Church? Therefore, this study focuses on the first church of the Tsung Tsin Mission in Hong Kong, “Sai Ying Pun Kau Yan Church”, as a field site, and used participatory observation and in-depth interviews to complete several worship records and 10 church visits. The study found that the missionary strategy of Kau Yan Church, “Age segregated ministries” directly reflects the changes in its diocese, which can be divided into two levels: ”internal growth and external development”, which includes: “Regional differences, Language use, Ethnic structure”, As well as the relationship between the three groups. Therefore, the present study proposes three points of responses: “Multicultural Narrative of Regionalization by Kau Yan Church”, “Case Study as Cross-Cultural Reference”, “The Hakkas Church must Reconsider Stably”, The results of the discussion point of view. |
