Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is gaining more and more attention from all countries. Also, the enterprise will give back some of the profit to the society. The goal of all enterprises is sustainable business as in the enterprise ethics and environmental protection; therefore many companies began to engage in social welfare gradually. However, most enterprises prefer to donate to the charities; few companies are willing to hire people with disabilities. According to the Ministry of the interior statistics, the number of people with physical and mental disabilities manual is increasing year by year. The government has revised the law to protect the people with disabilities working, but most of them still are unemployed. The most of small and medium enterprises are not subject to statutory restrictions on the employment of physical and mental disabilities, but they accounted for 97% of all enterprises in Taiwan. So, this paper will be small and medium enterprises as the object of study. In the survey report on the labor situation of the physically and mentally disabilities in 2014, people with intellectual disabilities are most in need of assistance to get a job. There are three main causes of unemployment: the adaptation of work, the ability of work, and stereotypes of intellectual disabilities. Special education has been implemented in our country for many years. In the school the intellectual disability students can learn skills of work, knowledge of workplace safety, and attitude. Furthermore, they can go to workplace to work directly via the off-campus internship class. The teachers and counselors will help students to adapt to work quickly, and communicate with employer. The intellectual disability students can learn and practice the skills in workplace; they can get more opportunities of work when graduated. The purpose of this study is investigating the willingness of employer to hire people with intellectual disabilities via off-campus internship. The research method is to interview employers, school staffs, and employees with intellectual disabilities. The study result is that people with intellectual disabilities can be trained to work. Also, helping them to live by themselves is reducing the loading of their families and increasing productivity of our country. According the research, the suggestion is provided to government, employers: the employment of people with intellectual disabilities is a big issue, and everyone should attend it.
