Popis: | 105 The objective of this study was to evaluate the VOCs reduction efficiency and cost effectiveness in a condensate recovery system while filling Acrylonitrile into tank trucks, and was to discuss the rationality of loading loss equation in Compilation of Air Pollutant Emission Factors(AP-42). This study introduced the importance in chemical manufacturing and hazard to human of Acrylonitrile, related regulations when Acrylonitrile being loading and transporting, common VOCs reduction methods, and emission loss amount estimated by the ideal gas law as well as loading loss equation in AP-42. The aim of study was to project a theoretical emission loss estimate by using both loading loss equation and the ideal gas law when tank trucks were being loading Acrylonitrile, then actual recovered amounts of Acrylonitile were collected after condensate recovery. The recovered Acrylonitrile divided emission loss equaled the recovery rate. Therefore a 207 counts of recovery rate data had been collected and explored with variables as “Temperature of Acrylonitrile- Liquid Phase ”, “Temperature of Acrylonitrile-Vapour Phase”, “Temperature of Condensation” by computer software SPSS. Finally a regression model was built to predict recovery rate. Result of this study indicated that in loading loss equation of AP-42 a 85% recovery rate would meet if “Temperature of Condensation” were set as -20 degree Celsius. Secondary this condensation system was cost effectiveness in recovering Acrylonitrile. Tertiary the loading loss equation originated from ideal gas law was confirmed but correlation between loading loss equation and variable “Temperature of Acrylonitrile” was not found in this study. Finally a reassessment of the saturation factor was recommended due to its irrational description. |
