The design of cylindrical heat sink using Taugchi Methods

This thesis is study the heat transfer performance of a cylindrical heat sink using Taugchi Method. First, the experiment result is verified to the numerical analysis of cylindrical heat sink by computer auxiliary engineering. We choose the orthogonal array L_9 (3^4) and the selected design parameter factors with three levels, respectively are volume ratio, the shape of columnar heat sink, the angle between flow field and heat sink and the flow velocity of enforce convection. The target is heat transfer performance larger the better, to find the best combination of factor levels by CFD and the contribution ratio of the design parameter factors are obtained. The results are presented in volume ratio is 0.3, the shape of columnar heat sink is anti-taper, the angle between flow field and heat sink is 80°and the flow velocity of enforce convection is 1 m/s, the best heat transfer performance, make reference to design of cylindrical heat sink heat sink.
