Popis: | 105 In recent years, the Government has been promoting "social innovation" and "rural reengineering" projects to encourage young people to return to their homes. The "return home" is an opportunity for young people to grow their lives. This study aims to explore the experience stories of young people who have returned to the community, and then to interpret their thinking about rural social innovation. The research method adopts narrative research method and conducted a semi-structured interviewing with two home-return youths-one with the background of leisure management and the other with the experience of creative industry and marketing planning. The study also collected data from other methods through the literature review, documents and activity participation and field observation. The study found that home-youths not only have to first familiar with the relevant government policies aligned with incentives, but further explore the unique local culture including humanities, production, lands, sightseeing, while observing the needs and expectation of residents. Besides, home-youths could turn those expectations into the sources of innovative action and further construct future blueprint of social innovation. At the beginning of the social rural innovation, residents may not know and agree with the thinking of young people. However, young people should demonstrate their perseverance, enthusiasm and sincere attitude and also employ the techniques of social network and online marketing to promote local culture for local people and tourists. In term of the team's recruitment and training, home-youths can apply the government-related programs to recruit college and local high school students as volunteers to work and experience the unique local culture during the summer breaks. The study suggested that home-return youths have to recognize the social innovation as a career not a job although there are lots of frustration and bottleneck during the process of social innovation. Finally, “don’t forget the original intention” is the core essence for home-youths to continuously promote the rural social innovation. |
