Since EU banned the use of incandescent lamp at 2010, the LED(light emitting diode)light plays an important role of lighting system in back light, street light, decoration light, portable light, vehicle light, customize light, and household light, with its superiorities of energy saving, non-toxic, high efficiency and skillful technique. However, the LED light seems unable to replace the traditional incandescent lamp of indoor lighting system mainly due to its expensive cost. This research is focused on a 2ft-by-2ft T8 light-weight steel frame lighting system using the innovative problem solving theories of TRIZ such as SUH method, knowledge-problem matrix, and 40 inventive principles for engineering characteristic, to create a new vision and value-added of light-weight steel frame lighting system. Through the using of engineering methods include separation, extraction, partial character, combination, multi-function, and medium, to apply photocatalyst(TiO2)and silver ion (nano-Ag+1) coating on the acrylic plate. This new lighting system is capable of air-purifying, deodorizing(TVOC), disinfecting(such as Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Mould), and resolving formaldehyde basic(HCHO).It can provide a non-toxic environment for people to live in, and also achieve the goal of energy conservation and carbon reduction at the same time. Through in-depth analysis of the purchase cost of investment to stimulate consumer purchasing intent, and then, to expand the application of LED household lighting and it’s market penetration rate.
