Popis: | 105 Footwear industry is a kind of labor intensive traditional industry. The enterprises always keep searching for emerging countries that can offer abundant of manpower with low-wage so that they can create more profit for their business. However, we can see the labor costs are soaring these years in China and Vietnam. Thus, many footwear companies decided to move out of China. Vietnam government also arise labor wages each year. That is why Nike and Adidas start to cooperate and study new manufacturing process with their supply-chain partners. They aim to use new automatic process to improve manpower-shortage problem in the future. The introduction of No-Sew can reduce stitching process in which the shoe pieces can be firmly tied together using hot-melt character to resolve the manpower-shortage problem facing within 25 years. No-Sew instruction brings shoes’ revolution. From this instruction people realize they can reduce shoes’ weight from stitching process and at the same time they can reduce manpower. Industry 4.0 is coming and many footwear brands start to study automation production stealthily. They hope to increase assembly line efficiency and can produce multi-models in a short time. Finally, they can shorten the circle time that is from design drawing to mass production. These years, Nike utilizes No-Sew instruction in more and more models. If we can obtain the optimal parameters in the No-Sew process faster, our company’s competitive capability will be strengthened. When we adopt No-Sew and automation manufacturing, the operation tolerance can be significantly reduced. Thus, this thesis aims to looking for optimal parameters in No-Sew process by using Taguchi method. Hopefully, the most efficient settings can be used in the automatic machines for achieving the stable appearances and sufficient adhesion quality that meet customer requirements. |
