Popis: | 104 Construction of Three-Dimensional Golay Complementary Array Pairs Student: Ming-Hung Weng Advisor: Dr. Ying Li Submitted to Department of Communications Engineering College of Electrical and Communication Engineering Yuan Ze University ABSTRACT When the sum of the aperiodic autocorrelation functions of two three-dimensional arrays is an impulse function, these two arrays form a three-dimensional Golay complementary array pair, and each array is a Golay complementary array. Three-dimensional Golay complementary array pairs can be used in coded aperture imaging of three-dimensional objects to clear up sidelobes and improve the image quality. In 2008, Fiedler, Jedwab and Parker proposed two constructions of multi-dimensional Golay complementary arrays. In 2013, Budišin and Spasojević proposed the paraunitary construction of one-dimensional Golay complementary sequences. However, there has been very little research reported on the construction of three-dimensional Golay complementary array pairs. The main contribution of this research is to apply variations of previous constructions to the construction of three-dimensional Golay complementary array pairs. We produced a computer program that, given the target size, can factor each side length, choose the appropriate construction procedures, and generate three-dimensional Golay complementary array pairs of the target size. Other programs we constructed can search for BPSK Golay complementary array sizes near the target size, and compute the ratios of sizes of three-dimensional Golay complementary arrays with specific alphabets in specific ranges. |
