'Lighting up Hakka'：Visual Image Creation of Zhaoan Hakka Ethnic Groups

| Popis: | 104 The ancestral home of the Zhaoan Hakka is Zhaoan County, Fujian Province. It is one of five Hakka Ethnic Groups in Taiwan. The Hakka Affairs Council Minister who is Ching-Chung Liu said the Hakkas account for about 18% of the total population in Taiwan. However, the Zhaoan Hakka group is the least in Hakka Ethnic Groups and it decreases immediately. Although the Hakka Affairs Council has had active to do many Hakka activities and revive Hakka culture. Successfully created “South (Liudui), North (Tongluo)” and “North Tung flower, South Yehho” cultural impressions. The Blue Dress Adornments, Tobacco Buildings and Oil-Paper Umbrellas are strong image for Hakka industry, from North and South Hakka Ethnic Groups input bright and colorful image. Comparing them, Zhaoan Hakka can’t easy to show forth. Researcher is live in Yunlin so many years, focusing on Hakka’s culture and Ethnic Groups development of Yunlin, finding it will elapse. Hope through self-design, makes Zhaoan Hakka Culture more close to the public. About the Zhaoan Hakka Culture references most come from Zhaoan Hakka and ethnography. In this research, focusing on “literature review of Zhaoan Hakka Ethnic Groups”, “Propaganda of Yunlin Zhaoan Hakka Festival” and “Cases of Taiwan Hakka Cultural Festival” then using three methods are “Bibliometric analysis”, “Iconography” and “Culture Code” to progress analysis and to do crossing validation. Integrated the visual image includes visual elements and unique colors of Zhaoan Hakka Ethnic Groups to regard as foundation of design creation. To ensure design works are suitable for local ethnic group image. This range of creation research doesn’t refer to original information, using Lunbei, Erlun and Xiluo Townships in Yunlin County, these three areas which are full of Zhaoan Hakka Ethnic Groups’ data. “Lighting up the Hakka” is the main topic of creation exhibition, in this research for the purpose of ：(1) building the transforming system form of visual image, (2) though illustrations design to build and integrate visual image, (3) using illustrations design to promote Zhaoan Hakka culture. In the future, hope designer can follow this process to design the cultural products to represent this ethnic groups’ works. At last, through Expert Questionnaire survey is proved the works validity. This research creates four part of categories works, including Basic Design of Visual Image、Advertisement Design of Visual Image、Design of Cultural Creativity Products and Packaging Design of Agricultural Products. At last, expecting my creation works can display in Zhaoan Hakka Culture Park and apply to relative advertisement of activities. Making the public knows more about Zhaoan Hakka Culture in activities and occasions to reconstruct the Zhaoan Hakka Culture image. Not only let design truly implement in life and achieve cultural preservation and promotion effect. |
