Popis: | 104 This research aims to apply Nature Experiences in visual arts course. Under the theme of “Meeting the Black Pines”, the research would discuss and find the influence of the elementary school children’s environmental awareness, in terms of the quality and quantity. In Quantitative analysis, there’s a chart and a questionnaire designed to evaluate children’s environmental awareness and opinions about nature experiences are applied in visual arts course, to acquire more findings. By pre-test analysis and reviews from the experts and professors to assure the validity and reliability for the research. In Qualitative analysis, the research is based on the findings from classroom observation, teachers’ self-review and student’s outcome on worksheets. This research results several findings: I.The campus scenery is the best subject for lower grade students to learn about the environment. II.By the pedagogy of Flow Learning, the sequence of playing games and activities provides a simple framework that allows teachers to structure nature awareness in visual arts classes for best effect. III.There is a positive influence from the visual arts course by experiencing nature under the theme of “Meeting the Black Pines”. IV.Visual arts course by experiencing nature is significantly helpful for teachers’ professional development. V.Visual arts course by experiencing nature can promote learning achievement for students. Finally, according to the result and findings, this research proposed related suggestions and advice toward bring Nature Experiences in visual arts course. |
