The design of the new buffer of rocket launcher was based on research of Key technologies of firing single-soldier rocket in a limit space. The purpose of this research is to control the danger to personnel by explosive pressure, explosive heat, noise, vapor and high impact pressure accumulator as a soldier fires rockets in an indoor place. This research used a physical method through applying diffusion theory, momentum transfer principle, deformation stored energy principle, silencer principle, adsorption principle and phase change principle to a buffer for controlling the vapor, fire, pressure, noise and impact pressure accumulator. The weight of finished product was lightened, which can effectively increase the mobility for a fighting soldier. This research firstly collected related patents and literatures abroad, proceeding category and analysis to set designed condition of the buffer, based on rocket launcher standard of C.S.I. (National Chung-Shang Institute of Science of Technology).Further, the methods of type synthesis and dimensional synthesis were used to complete the design of mechanism, using CAD to establish 3D modeling and interfere with detections. Finally, the ANSYS was used to analyze the launching fluency of a rocket launcher in an indoor situation, and adapted Fluid-solid coupling simulation to verify the feasibility of the new designed buffer. The expectation is to fulfill the goal, and proceed to make a proof of the buffer. The new designed buffer prototype proofing has been completed.
