Speed and Position Control Bandwidth Improvement for Servo Drives

Popis: | 104 The objective of this thesis is to develop the technique for the improvement of speed and position control bandwidth for servo drives. In the servo drives, the achievable bandwidth of speed loop is limited by the delay time, which is caused by speed filter delay, computation delay of digital control and current loop delay time. The achievable bandwidth of position loop is limited by computation delay of digital control and speed loop delay time. To shorten the delay time, an FPGA-based controller with a fast successive approximation ADC prototype is implemented. Based on 20 kHz switching frequency, the achievable control bandwidth of speed control loop is improved from 232 Hz to 440 Hz and that of the position control loop is improve from 23.1 Hz to 150 Hz. |
