| Popis: | 104 With the development of time and other factors, performing arts market have been changed in recent years. Performing arts present in the forms (such as theater, dance or music) from a single style, to the integration of multiple performing forms, attempting to break the original style of traditional performance. As a researcher, I believe that contemporary performing arts, is in a highly experimental and unstable state of change. It is the cooperation of crossover performing arts, which needs the theoretical support, to make the crossover elements into a whole, and sort out the unique artistic value of it. Therefore, the idea of Gesamtkunstwerk proposed by Wilhelm Richard Wagner (1813-1883) in the nineteenth century, is a suitable method to inspect nowadays. The popularity and business value of musicals makes the scholars in art circles filed discuss actively. The aim of the paper is to analyze values and effects of Gesamtkunstwerk in musicals, and investigate the and relationship between Gesamtkunstwerk and musicals, besides study the musical 《More Than Words》originated from the popular songs by Chang Yu-Shen. |
