A Study of the Relationships among Work Stress , Efficacy , Coping Strategy and Involvement of Aerobic Dance Participants.

The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships among work stress, efficacy, coping strategy and involvement of aerobic dance participants. The questionnaires were sent out to office worker who participate courses of aerobic dance in Pingtung County. A total of 400 questionnaires were distributed, of which 375 were valid and the effective rate is 93.53%. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis, Pearson product-moment correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 18.0 for Windows. The results were as follows: (a) Work stress, efficacy and coping strategy were negative related but theae variables had no significant relationship with involvement. (b) Efficacy and coping strategy were positive related. Notably, other-efficacy has significant correlation with tive related to involvement. (c) Work stress, efficacy and coping strategy could significantly predict involvement. However, work stress couldn’t significantly predict dimention of importance related to involvement. (d) Work stress, efficacy and coping strategy could significantly predict social dimention of involvement. (e) Work stress, efficacy, and coping strategy could significantly predict attentiveness dimention of involvement.
