A Study of the Relationships among Teacher Leadership, School Organization Culture, and Teaching Effectiveness in Elementary Schools in Kaohsiung

This research aims to study the relationship of teacher leadership, school organizational climate, and instructional effectiveness which conducts in the teachers whom works in the public elementary school of Kaohsiung city in the school year 104. The research method of questionnaire survey was adopted. A total of 624 questionnaires were distributed, and 552 samples were retrieved. There were 538 valid samples, with a valid return rate of 86%. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent sample t test, One-way ANOVA, and stepwisemultiple regression analysis. Based on the results, the findings are as follows: 1. “Enhance students' learning effectiveness” has got the highest ratio in the consciously teachers’ leadership of elementary school teachers which demonstrates thedistinctions in the “gender”, “position”, “school scale” and perception. 2. “Bureaucracy” has got the highest ratio in the consciously school organization climate of elementary school teachers which demonstrates the distinctions in the position and perception. 3. “Harmonious, equal class atmosphere” has got the highest ratio in the consciously teaching effectiveness of elementary school teachers which demonstrates the distinctions in seniority, position and perception. 4. The teachers’ leadership have an impact on the teaching effectiveness, and the “Enhance students' learning effectiveness “has presented the biggest difference. 5. The school organization climate have an impact on the teaching effectiveness, and the “supportive culture“ has presented the biggest difference. 6. Teacher’s leadership and the school organization climate have an impact on the teaching effectiveness, and the “Enhance students' learning effectiveness “has presented the biggest difference.
