The death of a spouse was a cause of adults’ big pressure, which impacted the living one the most, and the most painful experience in mankind living experience. It was a life journey that human being didn’t have any choice but to learn by going through it, to step forward from the darkness to the brightness. In this research we interviewed three participants who had lost their husbands before age forty, and studied their painful life experiences. To complete the analysis of the journey that they have been through by comprehending their feeling of being situated in the concept of “situatedness”, the researcher who put herself as the first person applied self-narrative to understand that the participants faced the same situation in which there were shock, panic, being broken, loss etc. and experienced the same sadness, loss, loneness and the journey of mental adjustment. The healing factors, which the three participants had and which helped them go through the valley of life during their journey of becoming widows, were 1. being there with suffering, 2. the support of important company, 3. religion, 4. healing by time, 5. finding the meanings of life, 6. going back to work and making contact with society, 7. accepting and affirming oneself etc.
