Popis: | 104 Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of three months of water-based training on cardiovascular risk factors in postmenopausal women. Method: Thirty postmenopausal women and age under seventy years old were recruited as participants in this study. Participants were divided into three groups; related hypertension group (RHTG, blood pressure is over 120 mm/Hg before training, n= 12, 61.5 ± 5.28 years old), normal blood pressure group (NBPG, the blood pressure is under 120 mm/Hg before training, n=11, 57.6 ± 4.53 years old), and control group (7 people, 56.2 ± 2.49 years old). The RHTG and NBPG performed three months combined aerobic and resistance water-based exercise training, (two times a week, 55 minutes for each time). All participants performed body composition, vascular elasticity and blood testing at pre and post exercise training. Results: After three months of training program, we found the AGEs in NBPG is significantly lower than RHTG (p= .011) and control group (p= .005), and the Fibrinogen in three group decreased, but the volume of decreasing in control group was significantly higher than RHTG (p= .002), Systolic blood pressure in RHTG and control group were lower than NBPG (p= .000, p= .007), and the diastolic blood pressure, pulse press and ASI in RHTG (p= .038, p= .005, p= .004) were lower than NBPG. Nitric Oxidase, Homocysteine, Hs-CRP, fasting blood sugar, TG、HDL and LDL were similar in three groups. Conclusion: The three months of water-based program improved blood pressure and blood vessel elasticity in related hypertension postmenopausal women. |
