Taiwan petrochemical industry manufacturers in the oil system experienced 2004-2012 wave of raw materials bull market, as oil prices after the end of 2014 substantial collapsing caused the manufacturers' inventory pressure suddenly rise, and with the weak demand of Chinese market and the global petrochemical industry rapidly changed, the new advanced technology such as the US or China mainland shale gas and coal chemical and petrochemical raw materials at low-cost competition, for the sake of survival, sustained profitability and sustainable management, We should strive to strengthen competitiveness and production of high value-added products, thereby changing the policy to increase production capacity to correspond to global market competition. Taiwan's petrochemical industry should be a good review to the past manufacturing processes and production management, and from the perspective of lean manufacturing system for the production of a variety of waste to be improved, even optimal adjustment of manufacturing systems. In this study, mainly in the petrochemical industry where polypropylene manufacturer L Company D plant for the case, hope that through Lean Six Sigma's DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analysis, Improve and Control; DMAIC) to improve the application of and eliminate waste (fine real), reducing variation (Six Sigma) and eliminate bottlenecks (theory of constraints), to improve the company D business processes speed, tending to stable and optimization, and effectively reduce inventory costs and increase their international market competitiveness and create improve overall performance, so that enterprises can continue to profit, to reach the goal of sustainable development. Key word:Polypropylene, Lean, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints.
