An Off-line Verification Design of Secure Electronic Ticket System

Electronic ticket technology has been widely used in commercial activities, especially in O2O (Online to Offline) marketing model. In recent years, more and more enterprises use electronic ticket platform as a means of brand management. However, today''s electronic ticket platform system still has some drawbacks. For example, QR code of electronic tickets could be stolen and used before the owner, causing damage to the consumers. Second, most verification of the electronic ticket is online, once the network is unstable, the entire solution of electronic ticket platform could be useless. Electronic tickets which contain only serial numbers generally do not have the property of non-repudiation. Once disputes occur, protecting consumers’ interests through the ticket is very difficult. We design an electronic ticket platform based on electronic signature technology which makes every ticket it produced possess non-repudiation. It improves the proof capability of tickets, resulting a better protection of consumers. Furthermore, we also design the new purchase, usage, verification process, and make the verification process can work without network. At the same time, the system let cooperative store free from information security threats. Finally, for keeping tickets from being photographed by attacker, we design a whole new QR code representation of tickets. In terms of convenience of the system, we make the system as convenient as commercial system nowadays, resolving all the problems above. We believe that it is a design which has a good opportunity to be applied in commerce. The electronic ticket system can cooperate with many kinds of enterprises, expanding business through the technology-driven flexibility of the system.
