Popis: | 104 This paper discusses the 356 poems involving seasonal imagery written by Shang-Yin Li for the purpose of probing into the expression of the seasonal imagery behind the poems. This papery consists of 5 chapters: Chapter 1, Introduction, explains the research motivation, purpose, scope, methodology and structure of this paper, and finally summarizes the past researches on the imagery of Shang-Yin Li’s poems and the seasonal imagery of the poetry in Tang Dynasty. Chapter 2 outlines Shang-Yin Li’s lifetime and the sense of things about seasons. Chapter 3 comprises 2 sections, “Spring” and “Summer”, to discuss these themed poems and explore the expression of the seasonal imagery by means of inductive statistics. Chapter 4 also includes 2 sections, “Autumn” and “Winter”, to discuss these themed poems and explore the expression of the seasonal imagery by means of inductive statistics. Chapter 5, Conclusion, summarizes what have been discussed in the preceding chapters, tries to discuss the value behind the poems and do self-examination to look into the future. With a series of generalization, discuss and analysis, we could comprehend that season plays an important role in Shang-Yin Li’s poems. Not only there is a variety of seasonal imagery in Li’s poems, but also the metaphor behind them is valuable. |
