Popis: | 104 is the first food and culture documentary that include local foods, people, daily life and social ethics in China. It caused almost everyone’s attention and discussion during its’ first run. It was also made the discussion head into a new high tide when was shown on CCTV in 2014. It brought not only the discussion, but also the business opportunities and revenue. As a phenomenal documentary, described not only the food culture from all over the China, but also convey the images of Chinese culture to audiences by different shots and implied meanings. All that above made become an important stage in the development history of Chinese documentary, it also made this documentary valuable to research. This research is scoped on 8 episodes in. We try to discuss the meaning of those symbols in this documentary by using textual analysis on the basis of Saussure and Roland De Barthes’s semiotic analysis. Also we try to discuss the social implications and social issues in this series by symbolic analysis and general classification. After all, we hope it could make some suggestions for the documentary production industry. |
