This study used qualitative research methods to the D company expatriates of the world's top fifty shoemaking industry. Discussion on expatriates how to use bricolage theory to solve the problems of cross-cultural adjustment and understand expatriates how to resolve constraints by the methods of bricolage. The results of this study, the cross-cultural adjustment of the research areas are divided into general adjustment, interaction adjustment, work adjustment. When expatriates face general adjustment problems, they solve the problems by acting according to circumstances, using resources at hand and remote assistance. When expatriates face interaction adjustment problems, they solve the problems by interdisciplinary learning and role shifting. When expatriates face work adjustment problems, they solve the problems by role shifting, reorganizing routines, resources at hand and recombination of resources. For the enterprise, the results of this study can help expatriates successfully adapt to the foreign country, improve the success rate of assignments and reduce the cost of the loss of expatriate assignments fail. For the expatriates, they can use the methods of bricolage, in order to successfully live and work abroad.
